Pasta Fagoli Soup

Serving Size : 6

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 pound ground beef, browned and drained
1 small onion chopped
1 cup grated carrot
1 cup diced celery
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
2 cans beef broth
1 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 teaspoons fresh parsley
1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
1 jar spaghetti sauce
1 small bag shell pasta

Place all ingredients in a large saucepan and add 4 cups of water (add water to our version because we used beef buollion or however you spell it instead of beef broth). Simmer until vegetables are tender. (30-40 min)

(if freezing, place all ingredients in a gallon-size ziploc bag) PS, we left the pasta out until cooking so they didn't get too soggy.
